Hey, friends!
I want to thank every one of you who’s been following along on this great adventure in the Smokies.
It’s an undertaking like nothing we’ve ever done before! Knowing YOU are out there rooting for us and watching the progress feels wonderful. It is more encouraging than I can even put into words.
We’re about to order the first geodesic dome, which puts us one big step closer to being able to host friends and family here at Idyllwild Woods. (WOW!)
Right from the start, some folks have been asking how they can support this project.
Now I have an answer!
There are a couple of ways.
First, if you know you’d like to come here for a little R&R in the woods as one of our Founding Friends, I’d like to offer you a reservation credit.
The nightly rate will be $500. Right now, our Founding Friends can get two nights for the price of one. So each reservation credit you buy for $500 gets you a $1,000 stay at Idyllwild Woods.
It’ll be first-come, first-served for dates, starting in 2025. It’s very possible we’ll be ready for you by November, but just in case!
But that’s not all. Your name will go on a hand-painted commemorative stone in our Founding Friends Garden, one of the most beautiful spots on the property - right by where the meeting venue and lounge will be, at the top of the ridge with a view that goes for miles.
One day soon, guests will be milling about there, looking at all the rocks in the garden, and they’ll see your name among the first to believe in this dream. It’s proof says you were part of this journey from the very beginning, helping to create a space where creativity and nature come together.
Once we’ve got our opening date, I’ll work with you for scheduling.
Plus… for the first 10 Friends who take this deal, I’ve got something extra cool to make your retreat time even more fruitful for you. Either before, during, or after your stay, you can have one virtual hypnosis session with my friend Vickie Poole (usually $500). Vickie’s really great at this - your session starts with a conversation about whatever’s on your heart (or causing you a pain in the butt). She custom creates your hypnosis script so it speaks precisely to your subconscious. I don’t know that I’ve ever worked with a coach who asks questions quite as insightfully as she does.
Second, if you want to support the project but aren’t planning a visit, we have some special thank-you gifts for donations at various levels:

When I first got the vision to create Idyllwild Woods, I thought it was a little nuts! But the more people I’ve spoken with about it, the more I’ve come to see this place as a calling, not just a project. It’s a huge undertaking - one that’s way bigger than we could ever do alone.
My natural tendency is “I’ll do it myself!” But starting with the angel investors who helped us get started, and then receiving some gifts along the way, I’ve come to realize that it’s even sweeter doing this with the love and support of friends.
And so, I want to thank you - from the bottom of my heart - for your support, encouragement, and love.
